Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is set to release his 7th studio album “Jamz” as he (Sarkodie) clears the air on using new talents to stay relevant in the game.
Sark on his media tour, shared his take on this viral issue where some patrons believe that he uses new talents to stay relevant in the music industry.
The father of two on the 3Music flagship program christened “Culture Daily” affirmed that… people want to find the logic of why you’re still here and relevant after a long time, so they’ll come up with stuff, and the funny thing is most of this records that you hear me jumping on somebody records, I never reach out to this people…”
He continued that “ if I want to do a song is rare I will think of ooo… this boy is the new hottest I want to put him on… big shout to my superstar Blacko, Blacko hits me up last minute of this project landlord I’ve to be on this Jamz ” as Sarkodie told the four hosts of Culture Daily show aired on 3Music.
With ten songs on the Jamz album, the Sark Nation Boss, aside from Blacko had the likes of Cina Soul, Oxlade, Joe Boy, Lojay, Kranium, and King Promise, among others, featuring in some of his songs.
Ahead of his album release, the father of two (Sarkodie) released a new single titled ‘Labadi’ featuring King Promise ahead of his upcoming Jamz album.
The two-time BET award winner Jamz Album is a blend of mid-tempo Afrobeats and Amapiano rhythms.
