After 43years “The Hammers” Clinch Their Maiden Europa Conference League Trophy.

Great season, Great final as West Ham and David Moyes clinched their maiden European trophy in a final against Fiorentina. 

The Hammers ended the enviable English Premiere League table in 14th position with 40 points. 

The last time West Ham won a trophy was the FA Cup in 1980 and after 43 years the club (West Ham) has chalked their maiden European trophy adding to their FA Cup cabinet. 

Prague Fortuna Arena welcomed West Ham clashing in the Europa Conference League against Fiorentina with seventeen thousand patrons rallying around their colorful teams. 

During the match play Benrahma in the 62nd minute gave The Hammers a penalty lead as Italian side Fiorentina equalized in the 67th minute by Bonaventura.

90th minutes saw Bowen give the final win against Fiorentina goalkeeper (Pietro Terracciano) who tried to save the ball but unfortunately landed in the goal post.

Elated West Ham fans couldn’t hide their excitement as many shared their vociferous win via social media.

David Moyes has won in his managerial career, with tonight being his 1,097th match in his management career.

Fiorentina have lost four of their five major European finals, losing each of their last three since their only ever such victory, against Rangers in the 1961 Cup Winners’ Cup.
